No Problem

And if I could have ever gotten a Monday off for a track day.

I’ve been on the prowl for a new bike since the storm. Haven’t ridden a motorcycle in over a year now (ouch!) Ducati’s, I’m afraid are probably out. The closest dealer is in Houston. A long way to go for some warranty work, should the need arise. Though owning the 998 was a dream, and I had wanted a Ducati for many, many years before circumstances allowed for its purchase. Perhaps I should not be too quick to cross a 999 off the list.

I get itchy and twitchy and crazed any time a bike blows by me. I was in Los Angeles last week, and counted about 50 Ducati's in the few days I was there. It was such torture as I sat in a cage, stuck on PCH1 North, watching my ex-pack roll through gridlock with ease and a breeze, that I finally turned around and headed back to LA. And took Sunset Blvd back to the city -- such a fun, hilly, twisty road, it only made matters worse. Though the 35MPH might have been a bummer.
